Actually landed a long term consulting position (IT) through them (www.firstgenesis.com). From what I understand, they have pretty good relationships with bigger Fortune 500 companies and have some of those "not-so-well-advertised" sweet spots in their database. They also stand up for their workers when any misunderstandings occur. They seem pretty reliable so far and they pay is always on time. So that's the good side. Now - why only 4 stars? Either because they are more focused on the developing their relashionships with vendors, or for some other reasons, but looks like these guys actually let smaller recruiting places do the "filtering" and technical screening for them. Consequently, fraction of your rate will go to this smaller "middleman". Moreover, since the payments go through the middleman, here is your source of delayed payments. Don't let anybody take advantage of you - if that hapens, let First Genesis know right away - they have thier ways of leverage. I give them credit for that.
