Reviews of Gambit Technologies Inc

Dealt with Gambit Technologies last year when the market was not at its best (not that it is at its peak now either!). This looked like a smaller type of agency, but nevertheless has a rather large presence in it's area online. Although I left
having some mixed feelings, I would probably like to deal with them in the future. I'll explain. The owner, Kevin Boston, is good. He does seem to know well what's happening on the market and genuinely sounds like a smart guy. Some of his
insights made me rethink and realize a few things. The problem is that you probably won't get too much of Kevin when you go to their office for a face to face. He will probably hop in and try to give you some pointers (don't take me
wrong - some good pointers) but most of the time you will be working with his assistants. This is where a gamble might begin for you. Some of his guys are good, and some are less than stellar - none of them lack enthusiasm, though. A turn off is that the reps strongly insisted for you to show up at their office for the "last minute pointers" before each and every interview they set up for you. Maybe, this is just the rep I was working with that experienced an unusual zealotry - I didn't work with all of them. This, in theory, is a good idea, but if you live in NJ, have an interview in downtown NYC and need to show up in the midtown office right before that - that creates a major schedule pain. While some of the "last minute tips" turned out good, others were just the repeats of what was said in the office a few days ago. The idea is good, but I see that being done over the phone almost as well, which would save some from soaking your ironed suit all over the subway with your sweat. All in all, interesting company that deserves attention. Remember to get some face time with Kevin once you are there, you won't regret you stopped by.
