A few months back I worked with Jeffrey Schreider from Mergis Group. Sounds like the guy specializes on a more senior positions, but we never generated an actual interview. Perhaps the market was to be blamed. He did require some formal technical questions to be answered but was easy going about that. The amount of paperwork that needed to filled out was above average - but then again, if he indeed worked with a higher caliber clients that would make sense. The guy sounds professional and laid back. He gives his honest opinion about your chances for a specific position, but does not try to short-sell you or spam you with positions below your desired range. Meeting with him was a useful experience - heard his opinions about a few fellow recruiting companies - not just criticism but a couple of things that I later found to be true.
